What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession that takes a hands-on approach to assessing, treating, and managing musculoskeletal conditions. Chiropractors focus on how joints, muscles, and nerves interact, using the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
A common myth is that chiropractors only treat low back pain — in fact, we help with a wide range of conditions, from ankle sprains to elbow pain. Curious to learn more? Please take a look at our What is Chiropractic page.
Our Ethos at Abertawe Chiropractic Clinic
We believe chiropractic care should be accessible for everyone. That’s why we take the time to treat each patient as an individual, looking for the root cause of your problem rather than simply easing symptoms. With longer appointment times than most clinics, we make sure you never feel rushed and always have time to prioritise your health.
Our Expertise
All our chiropractors complete an intensive five-year degree, followed by continuous professional development to ensure the most up-to-date, patient-focused care. Each of us is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
Sarah, Sian, and James have also undertaken additional training with the Royal College of Chiropractors, with Sarah holding Licentiate membership.
At Abertawe Chiropractic Clinic, you’re not just another appointment — you’re part of our community.
You can learn more about our chiropractic journey on the meet the chiropractors page. The clinic is situated on the ground floor of the Life Therapy Centre, just off the Kingsway in Swansea. Please refer to the map and contact us if you have any concerns about accessing the clinic.
